Client: Samaritan Medical Center

Location: Watertown NY

Shift: Night 12x3 7pm-7am I'll reorganize this job description into the requested format with the three sections.

Start / End: Mon 12/8/25 - 3/8/26

Duration: 13 Weeks

Highlights

  • MS/Tele FLOAT RN
  • 36 hours
  • 12hr shifts - weekend, holiday and call required
  • 7p-7a
  • 13 weeks
  • FLOAT: MS 4 Pav, MS 5 Pratt and the acute inpatient rehab (ortho/neuro)
  • BLS, ACLS REQUIRED
  • Traveler must hold CURRENT NY license
  • Traveler should have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment
  • First time travelers will NOT be considered
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles
  • Ability to provide quality patient care, and ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual
  • Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to and move patients in a safe manner
  • Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate
  • May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required
  • Meditech experience required
  • 100 Mile Radius Rule
