Highlights

  • Under the supervision of a nurse leader (CNO, Clinical Director, Supervisor and Nurse Leader), independently prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care to the acutely ill patient
  • Required: 3 years of experience
  • Knowledge/experience with Cerner EMR required
  • Valid and unrestricted State of California Registered Nurse License (RN License) required
  • Advanced NRP required
  • AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitor (FHM) required
  • AWHONN Maternal Fetal Triage Index (MFTI) required
  • Possess and maintain current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider: 1. Basic Life Support (BLS) card, 2. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) card
  • Schedule Notes: 2 Day Shift, 3 Night Shift
  • Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program with a bachelor's or associate degree preferred
  • Depending on assignment incumbents may be required to possess and maintain specific certificates of competency as a condition of employment
  • Must have knowledge of advanced theory, techniques and practices of nursing; medical terminology, instruments and equipment; the uses and effects of medicines and narcotics
