The background check is inclusive of the following: 7 year criminal background county search; National Sex Offender Database Check; Prometric Registry Search; OIG Exclusion Search; History Criminal Check; HCR through NYS Health Commerce System; and GSA Exclusion Search.
Primary Source verification from the state of licensure. A NURSYS Verification is completed on all nursing professionals to verify if professional has licensure privileges in any other state and to check if there is any pending disciplinary action on record.
Clients expect to receive the most qualified candidates available. TPF provides more than 180 competency tests and skill assessments that are nationally validated by a Clinical Advisory Board and a Clinical Review Board to ensure candidates have the appropriate experience and knowledge to perform the duties required of them.
All education degrees are verified online through an accredited company. For Allied paraprofessionals, education/certification is verified through the following: Prometric Registry, New York State Home Care Registry, and the National Healthcare Association.
TPF Nursing requires original documents mandated by the Department of Naturalization and Immigration which may include, but not limited to: Social Security Card, Driver’s License, Resident Card, or US Passport with a completed and signed I-9 Form.
Professional references are our most critical audit tool in determining future job performance. Two references from recent employers are required of all applicants. References must be obtained from someone in a supervisory role. References submitted by candidates are verified.
A ten panel Drug Screen is performed upon every initial assignment and completed within 30 days of start date at client facility.
