Client: University of Rochester Medical Center

Location: Rochester NY

Shift: 3 x 12 Rotating (shift times vary)

Start / End: Mon 9/14/26 – 1/9/27

Duration: 17 Weeks

Highlights

Years Experience: 2 years of cardiac RNFA experience
RNFA must be able to assist with chest exposure and closing as well as independently perform vein harvesting for CABGs
It is preferred but not required to first assist in DaVinci robotic cases
It is also preferred but not required be able to scrub and circulate complex cardiac cases which may include CABGs, structural heart cases (i.e. Bentall), minimally invasive procedures (i.e. Mini Aortic Valve Replacement), and heart failure cases (i.e. Impella)
Heart transplants are also performed here and experience in heart transplant is preferred
AHA BLS and ACLS
NYS RN license
CNOR certification
Telemetry
RN License (NY License ONLY): Required
BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY): Required
ACLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY): Required
CNOR Certification: Required
Telemetry: Required
36 or 48hr/wk, primarily weekdays 7a-7p and 11a-11p with on call responsibilities per unit need
