Client: Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center

Location: West Islip NY

Shift: Night 4×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)

Start / End: Mon 11/16/26 – 2/15/27

Duration: 13 Weeks

Highlights

  • 3 years experience required
  • BLS-AHA required
  • Current NY state RN license required
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred
  • BSN required – Will consider ASN if enrolled in an accredited BSN program
  • NY State license must be in hand for all nursing positions and Nursys must be provided at submission.
  • All Allied certifications must be included at submission.
  • Prefer at least 1 travel assignment prior to coming to Good Samaritan but not required! Will consider someone with lots of experience.
  • Travelers will be floated often to Med/Surg floors to assist where the ratios are 1:6/7.
  • Float Required: –
  • Local is defined as within 75 miles of the facility, locals accepted at lower BR for all specialties
  • Nursing Assistants: exception, accepted at same rate
  • COVID-19 Vaccine: Required – Medical Exemptions Only
  • Flu Vaccine: Unknown
