Highlights

• Minimum 2 years of Step-Down experience required
• Schedule Notes: 5 for days and 6 for nights
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• Required: BSN prepared, >/= 2 years experience, BLS, ACLS
• Preferred: Board Certification, Experience in a Level I or II Trauma Center
• Must be able to perform EKGs, lab draws, and provide direct patient care
• Candidates must be comfortable being floated to Med/Surg units as needed
• Skills: 1-2 years of experience on a cardiac unit where patients are under constant electronic monitoring. Basic cardiac rhythm monitoring techniques, interpretation, and treatment (calculation of drug dosage, administering continuous medication infusions). Competent in vent/tracheostomy, gastrostomy tubes, and wound care management.
